A store as nurturing and satisfying as a second home. Our owner and founder, Helen Stroud, is inspired by French style, European sensibilities and her two Louisiana grandmothers who believed in making a house a home, and not simply making a fashion statement. To us, this is about more than fine furniture. If you were to poll our patrons about the impressions of Olivine Living, many would tell you our store is like a second home to them. Maybe that’s because we’ve always seen our customers as good neighbors stopping by for a visit. The place is just oozing comfort. From the soothing smells to the eclectic array of music from our sound system to the laid back vibe our staff exudes, everything says “come in and take a load off.” Only at this home, if you like that sofa you’re sitting on, you can take it with you.
Come on in. We've been expecting you.
The product we sell isn’t stuffy or stiff. And neither is the staff. Whether you’re pondering a southern French infusion for the living room, a cozy conversion of the bedroom, or a darling little accessory just to pick your spirits up, we’re at your service. And on your terms. You won’t have commission-hungry hawkers hounding you. Just a few folks who want to hear how you’re doing, learn what’s on your mind and, maybe, brighten your day just a little bit. And if you happen to find a lamp or some nice bed linens to tickle your fancy, well, then, even better.
Beautiful, livable, lovable.
Simple, soft and inviting, our furniture and furnishings are not only comfortable, they are comfortably priced. Everything we feature is fashionable and beautiful, but also durable, washable, livable and loveable. Our lines include names like Bella Notte Linens, Pom Pom at Home, Vagabond Vintage, Aiden Grey, Le Cadeaux, Pixie Lily, Moss Studios, Dash and Albert rugs, Shelley Kyle grapefruit candles, and the list goes on. We also have some wonderful pieces by our own Catherine Stroud. And as good as it all looks, and as comfortable as it all feels and costs, pretty much everything can stand up to the fun and frolic of children and their four-legged friends.
